Forest Park Family,
In light of the current situation facing our nation and community the leadership of Forest park would like to take this opportunity to address some issues related to the Coronavirus outbreak.
First of all, we believe that in this season of uncertainty we need the Lord and the Church family more than ever, and are working to make certain that the services and missions of Forest Park remain both available and safe.
We are asking all members regardless of age, if you are sick or experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms, please consider the Church family and stay home.
We are concerned at this time about our members who would be most vulnerable to this virus. This includes our senior members and those who are dealing with compromised immune systems. If you fall within one of these groups, we are asking that you consider staying home until this situation is over. We will have individual communion servings available to pick up on Sunday morning at the door, or anytime through the week at the office. The service will stream live from the Church website (forestparkchurch.org) and links will be available on Facebook as well. Our secondary platform will be streaming as well you can find it here. There will be a team ready to help Sunday morning if you’re having trouble connecting, just call the office number, or click on the red chat button at the bottom right of your screen.
As we look ahead past this Sunday, there is, of course, a great deal of uncertainty. The leadership and staff will be working to evaluate all of our events and programming to determine the best course of action moving forward.
As we close, the President has asked that Sunday, March 15th be a national day of prayer concerning this crisis. Please join us in lifting up this outbreak, our nation, and our leaders in prayer throughout the day as well as the weeks to follow.
A scared world needs a fearless Church.—A.W. Tozer
Let’s do our part to be a point of faith in these uncertain times.
God Bless,
The leadership of Forest Park Church of Christ
